Butterflies Around the World

Flat Eddie and Lilli look at a display of what types of butterflies live in different areas of the world.

Flat Eddie and Walker are excited to go in the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House to see all the different types of butterflies that are flying freely inside.

Silly Fun Day

Flat Eddie had fun being silly and seeing all the animals at the World Animal Sanctuary.

Flat Eddie gets a good view of a parrot at the World Bird Sanctuary.  This bird could say "hello" and "buh bye."

World Bird Sanctuary

After our tours around the Gateway Arch we visited the World Bird Sanctuary to see endangered or injured animals.

Cruise on the Mississippi

After we saw the Arch, we took a sight seeing tour on the Mississippi River.

Tallest Monument

The Gateway Arch is the tallest National Monument.

Favorite Statue

  

Flat Eddie's favorite statue is the giant one of Pinocchio, who only just wants to be a real boy.  I wonder why Flat Eddie likes it so much?

Citygarden

Flat Eddie and Lilli climb on one of the many statues in St. Louis's Citygarden. It also has fountains to splash in, but Flat Eddie didn't want to get wet.  

A Good Game

 
The Cardinals didn't win this time, but it was still fun to see a Major League Baseball game.  Too bad Flat Eddie didn't get a ball...

Flat Eddie loved spending time in the butterfly habitat house. The butterflies weren't afraid of him at all.

Flat Eddie discovered he is about as big as a meerkat.

Flat Eddie gets close to a rabbit at the children's section of the St. Louis Zoo.

Swimming?

Walker and Lilli wanted to swim after a long day of museums, but they couldn't talk Flat Eddie into getting into the pool with them. I guess he forgot his swim trunks.

Paleontologist at Work

 

Flat Eddie touches a real triceratops horn while a real paleontologist works cleaning a fossil.  So cool!

Flat Eddie fit easily through all the tight twists and turns, but the dark caves were kind of creepy!

A Great Day

 

We all had a great day at Six Flags in St. Louis!

First Glimpse of Downtown Saint Louis

 

This was Flat Eddie's first glimpse of the arch as we drove through downtown St. Louis on our way to Six Flags.
